Please join us for the first Digital Health and Informatics Network (DHIN) Symposium on Tuesday 5th December, 2017 “The Future We Were Promised” where we will be exploring how partnerships in digital health are transforming care.
Our international keynote speaker is Dr Calum MacRae M.D. Ph.D, Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr MacRae and his team were selected as the recipients of the One Brave Idea research award, which is a $75 million, 5 year research award. He will be speaking on “Connecting care and discovery: a real-world learning health system”.
The symposium sessions will also address how digital health is changing care within the following themes:
* Monitoring of population health/disease prevention
* Novel insights into disease prevention and patient care
* Increasing the efficiency of biomedical and clinical research

* Cheryl McCullagh, Director of Clinical Integration at The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network
* Associate Professor Vitali Sintchenko, Director, Centre for Infectious Diseases and Microbiology (CIDM) Public Health, Sydney West LHD and Pathology West.
* Professor Rafael Calvo, Director of the Positive Computing lab and co-director of the Software Engineering Group
* Professor Tim Shaw, Professor of eHealth and Director of Research in Implementation Science and eHealth
