Caitlin Hamilton is in the final year of her PhD on the topic of technology use during aged-care and neurological rehabilitation. As part of her PhD, she has explored the experiences of patients and therapists who have been involved in the NHMRC funded AMOUNT rehabilitation trial (APP1063751); a large multi-centre trial investigating the use of tailored prescription of technology to improve physical activity levels during rehabilitation. Since graduating in 2008, Caitlin has worked as an occupational therapist predominantly in rehabilitation roles. She is keen to improve rehabilitation services through the implementation of technology in practice.
