Chris is a Senior Project Officer in the Digital Patient Safety division of the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. Chris has worked both locally and internationally as a critical care and aeromedical retrieval nurse for over 10 years and holds postgraduate Masters qualifications in International Public Health and Health Management.
Chris’ key areas of interest include patient safety considerations for digital health interventions, electronic health records and digital health literacy among the Australian healthcare workforce. His current projects are focused on clinical document exchange at transition of patient care, digital health content in tertiary curricular and examining safety and quality benefits of secure messaging technology.
