PASSION: American healthcare is dysfunctional. Fixing it will take political will, healthcare professional involvement and business skill. The remedy will evolve incrementally, from many corners, and will require innovation. Until now, innovation has been an activity in healthcare requiring years of trial prior to passive integration. We do not have time for this discredited process. We need to be deliberately and expediently focused on innovation and its implementation. Innovation is both new tools and defining the techniques by which these tools are effectively implemented into the enterprise. eHealth offers many tools to innovate and help convert our healthcare system to an economical, high quality value-based enterprise. As a seasoned physician, innovator and manager, I can assess the innovation / implementation processes, build the bridges and advocate such that innovations are effectively and efficiently incorporated into the healthcare enterprise.
VISION: Create healthcare value by maximizing the opportunities within the eHealth toolkit.
