Dr Peter MacIsaac is a clinical research informatician employed by the Hunter Medical Research Institute to provide informatics, Information Technology and data management support to researchers and clinicians. Working with Hunter New England Health Research Innovation and Partnerships Unit, Peter is exploring new method of data aggregation and presentation leading to health systems and process improvement.

Peter is a Fellow of the Australian College of Health Informatics, and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has a Master of Public Health. The use and implementation of information technology in healthcare has been a consistent theme throughout his clinical, academic, healthcare management, consulting and technology roles. These include some 15 years of Australian and international experience in bridging the divides between information systems, changing practices and the business of healthcare alongside 20 years of healthcare professional service and leadership positions.
