A guide to submitting an abstract

Abstracts for conference presentations and electronic posters (ePosters) are now invited for eHealth@Sydney 2020.

The conference theme is Digital Connections: Using technology to bridge gaps in healthcare. eHealth@Sydney 2020 will showcase the exciting and innovative research on the inter-relationship between health and digital technologies. It will bring together researchers, health services, and industry to build eHealth collaborations. Abstracts are invited from the following research topics (in alphabetical order):

  • Data and learning health systems
  • eHealth education
  • Equity, equality, and the digital divide
  • Games and gamification for health
  • Mobile applications and wearable technologies
  • Social media and social networking sites
  • Telehealth and telepractice
  • Virtual and augmented reality

Presenters can nominate their preference for a ePoster or presentation format. There will also be a dedicated session for higher degree research students to highlight their innovative research. Prizes will be awarded for a) best postgraduate student presentation, and b) best ePoster.

Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words and contain: background, aims, methods, results, and conclusions. In addition, abstracts should be accompanied by a description of how the research fits with the conference theme.
